(WTAJ) — A winter storm continued to bring snow and ice to central Pennsylvania on Thursday, Dec. 15, as local emergency services began reporting traffic accidents and crashes.

- Last updated: 10:50 AM A multi-vehicle collision was reported in both directions on Route 56 on Eisenhower Boulevard in Johnstown. According to 511PA, lane restrictions are in place.

- Last updated: 10:50 AM A multi-vehicle collision was reported on westbound I-80 between Exit 161 toward Bellefonte and Exit 158 toward Milesburg. All lanes are closed per 511PA.

- Last updated: 11:00 AM A portion of eastbound I-80 reopened after a crash between Exits 81 and 86 in Reynoldsville. The incident was reported by 511PA. Jefferson County Emergency Services is urging drivers to avoid the I-80 corridor due to multiple crashes with first responders at the scene.
Somerset County
- Last updated: 10:40 AM Somerset County 911 reported a crash in the Glade City Road 900 Block area of Summit Township. The Meyersdale Volunteer Fire Brigade and Berlin EMS were called to the scene at 1.37am on Thursday.state police are investigating
