South Fork, Missouri (December 10, 2022) – A fatal crash took the life of 32-year-old Aaron Schlegel in Howell County on Friday night. On December 9 at approximately 9:20 p.m., the Missouri Highway Patrol responded to a crash on Route 160.
According to law enforcement, a 2020 Ford F150 pickup truck crossed the middle of the road and crashed head-on into a 1994 Chevrolet S-10 pickup truck.
The driver of the Chevrolet, identified as Schlegel, was fatally injured in the crash. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Three other people were injured in the accident. The victims were identified as Amanda Sanders, 30, Carolyn Robertson, 61, and Carol Gaddis, 64. All three victims were taken to Ozarks Healthcare in West Plains, Missouri, where they received emergency care.
Currently, the incident is still under investigation.
