RVA Park, new entertainment and food venue opens in Richmond

RICHMOND, VA (WRIC) — Richmond’s newest entertainment venue, RVA Park, opens this afternoon and is expected to be fun for the whole family.

Visitors can expect a variety of entertainment from the venue, including activities, games and food and drink.

The 55,000 square foot space east of The Diamond at 1407 Cummings Drive is worked for more than a year Create a one-stop entertainment venue for Richmond families. Basim Mansour, lead investor in home services firm Michael & Son, collaborated with RVA managing partner Orcun Turkey’s The Park to create the space.

“We really can’t do anything without community involvement, so the scale is huge,” Turkay said.

Local artists and companies have made integral contributions to the space, Turkay said. Murals by Richmond street artists adorn the walls, and local musicians will be invited to showcase their talents on the venue’s stage. Turkay also said that the venue will provide more than a hundred different job opportunities.

“Post-COVID has been difficult for our industry, and a lot of people have lost their jobs,” Turkay said. “It’s fantastic to be able to provide such a service to our employees.”

The grounds offer many activities including indoor miniature golf, duck bowling and karaoke.

Park RVA will have a grand opening on Wednesday, November 30th at 4pm.
