Rohit Shetty on Cirkus Fail, Indian Police Force Accident: 'Going Through...' | Bollywood

Director Rohit Shetty took to Instagram to share a photo of him filming in the Indian Police Force while filming the final timeline. He resumed filming the web series in Hyderabad after suffering an accident in which he got stitches in two of his fingers. In the post, Rohit shared how he and his team are coping with the tragedy. He also reflected on the box office failure of Cirkus, his last film starring Ranveer Singh. Besides fans, celebrities like Sidharth Malhotra, Raveena Tandon and Shilpa Shetty also reacted to the post. In the candid photo, Rohit looks back and smiles. He was wearing a blue shirt, dark sunglasses and an arm sling to support his injured arm. The background is blurred by upside-down cars on the set.

Sharing his photo on Instagram, Rohit wrote: “From Cirkus to my accident on set, me and my team have been through a lot in the last few weeks! We rise, we fall, but we rise again, not just To fight, but to win it!!! One last schedule to film the Indian Police Force in Hyderabad before we start pre-production on SINGHAM again.” Actor Sidharth Malhotra commented, “Come on (fire and biceps Muscle emoji)”, Raveena Tandon wrote, “That’s right,” and Shilpa Shetty wrote, “Shetttttyyyyyyy (biceps and evil eyes emoji).”

Responding to Rohit’s post, one of his fans wrote: “How are you sir? Good luck.” Another fan commented: “Most inspiring as always, things happen and are sent to test us And who knows better than you. You fought harder, you will always be my strongest fighter, love you!” wrote one fan, “More strength to you.” Another comment read: “Soon recover.”

On Jan 8, Sidharth Malhotra posted a short video showing how director Rohit was back on set within 12 hours, writing: “True masters lead by example. We all know Mr. @itsrohitshetty’s love of action and his passion for Stunt show he directed. Last night he was in a tragic accident while performing the car stunt action flick HIMSELF. After a sleepless night and a minor surgery he was back on set in less than 12 hours. Sir you are all People are inspired by our love and respect.”

Web series Indian Police Force starring Sidharth Malhotra, Vivek Oberoi and Shilpa Shetty. It will premiere on Prime Video. A release date for the series has yet to be announced.
