Officers from the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:
- Friday, December 16, 7:41pm, US 30, east of Silveus Crossing, Warsaw. Driver: Hunter S. Baker, 21, North CR 875W, Etna Green. Baker lost control of the vehicle due to icy road conditions, left the road and rolled on the roof of the vehicle. He bruised his knee and refused medical treatment.Losses up to $25,000
- Friday, December 16 at 6:54 pm, East Center Street and Lake City Highway, Warsaw. Drivers: Tammy S. Swihart, 43, Millers Drive, Mentone; and Charlotte B. Crighton, 16, EMS T13F Lane, Leesburg. Clayton turned left onto Lake City Freeway when her vehicle began to lose traction on the icy road, so she braked to regain control when her vehicle was hit by Swihart’s vehicle. Losses up to $5,000.
- Friday, December 16, 1:17pm, Warsaw East and North Roosevelt Streets. Drivers: Belvia S. Hall, 82, West Old Road 30, Warsaw; and Betty L. Swanson, 53 South Green Street, Atwood. Hall failed to stop at the stop sign and crashed into Swanson’s vehicle. Losses up to $10,000.
