Daring James is grateful to be alive after surviving a serious car accident earlier this week.
The Detroit rapper, known for his songs “First 48 Freestyle” and “Fake Flowers,” thanked fans for their support and updated his current stable status in an Instagram post Saturday.
“Thank you so much for your prayers. Thank you all for all the support, calls, texts. I’ve seen it all. Please allow me to pray for you on this journey as I continue to recover with my family,” James wrote in the post. . “Thank God.”
Along with his note, the rapper attached a screenshot of a press release issued by his rep that provided more details about Monday’s two-vehicle crash in the Detroit metro area.
“I can confirm that Boldy arrived at the hospital in critical condition with a fractured neck vertebra and orthopedic injuries,” the statement read. “Boldy has been released from intensive care following extensive surgery on his neck. The situation is stable.”
It concluded: “Boldy and his family would like to express their gratitude to the wonderful doctors and nurses who took care of him, as well as the emergency medical personnel and first responders in the community.”
