Pennsylvania State Police are investigating a car crash that killed a 17-year-old high school student in Dauphin County. “After the initial impact, (cobalt) was projected through a utility pole onto a tree before falling down a steep embankment to the ground,” PSP said in a statement.
The Silverado then collided with the Ford Edge and all vehicles were stopped, according to the statement.
The 17-year-old boy who was driving the Cobalt was pronounced dead by the Dauphin County coroner after being taken to Penn State Hershey Medical Center as a trauma patient.
The other two drivers were not injured.
The fatal crash is being investigated by the Pennsylvania State Police’s Lykens Patrol and Criminal Investigation Unit.
