Fall Prevention at Home will be held in the Main Library on Wednesday at 11am. Attendees will learn how to prevent falls, what to do if a fall occurs, and tips and tricks to make your living space safer and more accessible. Registration is recommended.

Santa will be at The Depot Coffee House at 644 Miami Street in Urbana today from 4-6 pm.

Kids can visit and take free photos with Santa and enjoy hot chocolate. There will also be a bonus raffle basket for a chance to win some store goodies.

The Christ Church Food Pantry at 409 E. High St. will be holding a food distribution on Wednesdays from 10am to noon or until all food is distributed. Customers should bring a valid ID.

Christmas meal

The Springfield Soup Kitchen at 830 W. Main St. in Springfield will be hosting a Christmas Dinner on Wednesdays from 5-6 pm. There will be turkey and all ingredients.

Santa’s Story will be held on Wednesdays from 1:30pm to 3pm at the Medway Lion’s Club, 11200 Gerlaugh Road.

Discover the history of St. Nicholas, hear stories, make crafts and write a letter to Santa. The program is free, but please register on the Clark County Park District website.

polar express movie

The Polar Express will perform at the Gloria Theater, 216 S. Main St., Urbana, Wednesday at 6:30 pm.

Tickets are $4 and can be purchased online or at the box office.

USS Member Appreciation Open House

United Senior Services will be hosting a Member Appreciation Open House on Thursday at 2pm.

The event is open to members of the public who wish to explore all of the options and resources USS has for the Clark County senior community. The USS will provide desserts, homemade decorations, and the USS jammers will put on a show.

This event is a great way to explore all that the USS has to offer. Questions can be answered by calling 937-323-4948.

Country Pantry

New Beginnings United Methodist Church Village Pantry, 5065 Old Mechanicsburg Road, will be open Monday from 5:30 to 6:30 pm.
