Upper Freehold Township (Monmouth), NJ – Yesterday, Wednesday, December 7, 2022 No serious injuries were reported in two separate incidents at the same location on Old York Road hours apart .
The first incident was reported on the 1300 Block of Old York Road, about 1/8 of a mile south of Herbert Road, when a car left the driveway and landed on a field of grass. The Robbinsville Township Fire Department and EMS were dispatched at 3:05 p.m. Upon arrival, no one in the car wanted to be taken to the hospital.
The second incident occurred at 8:00 p.m. when a sport utility vehicle overturned on top of the vehicle in the same area as the previous incident. Allentown expects the fire company and Allentown-Capital Health EMS to be dispatched to the scene. Upon arrival, the occupants left the vehicle and did not wish to be taken to hospital. Firefighters are expected to remain on scene until the vehicle is upright and fire police assist with traffic control.
New Jersey State Police are investigating both crashes. No other details are available.
