Road Transport and Highways Union Minister Nitin Gadkari has unveiled the ‘Surakshit Safar’ initiative, a joint initiative of the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) and Rosmerta Technologies Limited. The initiative aims to reduce road accidents by 50%. Rosmerta is showcasing end-to-end mobility solutions at its Surakshit Safar pavilion at Auto Expo 2023.
It goes from production and commercial stage to environmentally friendly end-of-life. The company launched its first Automated Test Center (ATS) in India, and Rosmerta showcased the established ATS model on the floor, showcasing the design of automated testing that integrates test equipment into a holistic digital road safety solution. This is demonstrated with dedicated vehicle test track management software for vehicle health certification without human intervention. The model has been implemented in nine states.

The company also demonstrated the Rosmerta Autonomous Driving Test Track (ADTT) as another interactive mobile solution capable of assessing driving skills based on video analysis and sensor-based technology. It is an end-to-end automated solution based on real-time image processing to obtain reliable and high-precision results without any human intervention.
Through this system, the applicant’s driving skills are assessed on the spot, including the number of collisions, forward, backward and parking times, wrong directions, and test duration, and the results are displayed on the screen in real time. display screen.
The company simplifies compliance requirements by digitally registering more than 100,000 vehicles on behalf of end customers in 28 Indian states and union territories. The Pollution Control (PUC) Station at the Surakshit Safar Pavilion demonstrated LIVE PUC testing and certification by communicating directly with the equipment without any interference from the operator to reduce false emission data.
