Mahindra XUV700 is one of the safest SUVs in India. Presumably that’s why, in a recent accident, the SUV snapped off the mast after hitting it at high speed. Later, the pole fell on the car and damaged the car. Fortunately, reports indicate that the SUV’s occupants were safe and uninjured even after the brutal crash that ultimately destroyed the car.
According to reports, the accident happened on the Ayodhya-Prayagraj highway late at night. However, the exact cause of the crash is unclear. However, the report stated that the accident was caused by the high-speed light pole installed on the roadside breaking due to the collision of the car at high speed. Later, the pole fell on the Mahindra XUV700.

Images of the accident were uploaded to a YouTube video showing the damage to the SUV following the crash. According to the images, the front end of the Mahindra XUV700 is completely damaged. The accident deformed the front end, causing parts of the SUV to break. However, even after the crash, the pillars are still intact and the rear of the car appears to have had little damage.
At the time of the accident, there were three passengers in the Mahindra XUV700, and all three were safe after the accident. The safety of the occupants can be attributed to the construction of the SUV. This fact is confirmed by the recent global NCAP safety test, where the car received a 5-star safety rating in the crash test. More specifically, the SUV earned a 5-star rating for adult protection and a 4-star rating for child safety.
Additionally, the Mahindra XUV700 comes with various safety features such as dual front airbags, ABS, pre-tensioned seat belts and ISOFIX child seat anchorages. Top-spec interiors come with extra safety measures, including ESC and ADAS features.
