Car Accidents in Missouri

Every year, thousands of people in Missouri are seriously injured in traffic accidents. A car accident can be traumatic and make you feel helpless. If you are injured in a car accident due to the negligence of another driver, you may be entitled to compensation for your injuries. A car accident attorney can help you understand your legal rights and options.

Most car accident cases are settled out of court. However, should you choose to file a lawsuit, Kennett car accident attorneys can help you understand the legal system and seek fair compensation on your behalf. Missouri follows the principle of comparative fault when it comes to personal injury cases involving auto accidents. This means that each party is responsible for their losses, up to a percentage of their fault. For example, if you were 20% responsible for a car accident, you can only recover 80% of the damages to cover the damages you faced from other drivers.

Unfortunately, insurance companies know this all too well and will do everything in their power to push the blame onto you. This can delay the legal process and put a lot of stress on you and your family. The truth of the matter is that filing a personal injury lawsuit can be complex and time-consuming. A car accident attorney can help you gather evidence, hear witnesses, and build a strong case. If you are involved in a car accident, don’t try to do it alone – contact a qualified car accident attorney today.
