Contributions to Support Food Insecure Families During the Holidays
Battle Creek, Michigan, December 6, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — The Kellogg Company announced today that it has donated 30 million meals to Feeding America food banks across the United States
Donations include snacks such as cereal, bars and cookies, and Ego product.
Several food products donated by Kellogg Company to Feeding America.
Often, people facing hunger are forced to make difficult choices between buying food, paying medical bills or rent, or buying holiday gifts for their children.
“While the holiday season is a happy time for many, it can be especially difficult for those struggling with food insecurity,” he said Steve Cahillan, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, The Kellogg Company. “This donation is part of our Better Days Promise to promote sustainable and equitable access to food. We are committed to feeding the 375 million people facing food insecurity and crisis by the end of 2030.”
The company also encourages people to donate to Feeding America through feedingamerica.org.only $ 1 Feeding America helped provide at least 10 meals on behalf of local member food banks.
