Man flees Leela Palace hotel without paying Rs 23 bill
A man posing as a United Arab Emirates (UAE) government employee stayed at the Leela Palace Hotel in Sarojini Nagar area for three months and fled without settling outstanding bills of more than Rs 2.3 lakh. Mahamed Sharif stayed at the hotel from August 1st to November 20th, 2022 and fled without settling the bill of Rs 23,46,413 according to the hotel staff. According to the FIR accessed by IANS, the man checked into the hotel using a fake business card and pretended to be a key worker in the UAE government office of His Highness Sheikh Farah bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
