Actor Jeremy Renner said he has been released home from the hospital more than two weeks after he was seriously injured in a snow plow accident.

The 51-year-old “Avengers” star suffered blunt trauma to the chest and orthopedic injuries in a snowplow accident in Reno, Nevada, on New Year’s Day, according to his publicist. On Monday night, Renner responded to a Twitter post from the official account of Paramount Pictures’ thriller “The Mayor of Kingston,” in which he stars.

“Aside from my brain fog during recovery, I’m excited to watch episode 201 at home with my family,” Reyna wrote in reply to the tweet To promote the season 2 premiere.

According to the mayor of Reno, Rainer was trying to help a car that was stuck near his home on the side of a snowy mountain when he was hit by his own car and had to be airlifted to a nearby hospital.

“He’s helping people who are stuck in the snow,” Reno Mayor Hilary Schiff previously told the Reno Gazette. She said she was friends with the actor and was called shortly after the accident happened near the Rose Hill Freeway that connects Reno to Lake Tahoe.

“He was always helping people,” she told the paper.

Days after the accident, Reiner shared a photo of him in his hospital bed and thanked everyone for their kind words. He added that he was “too messy” to type more in the post, but sent his fans and supporters his love.

Rainer, who owns a property in Washoe County, where Reno is located, told the Reno Gazette in 2019 that he chose the area because Reno was the right size city for him, with stunning views that would allow him and His family can ski frequently.

In Marvel’s sprawling film and TV universe, Renner plays Hawkeye, a sharp-shooting member of the superhero Avengers.

2012’s “The Avengers” solidified his status as part of Marvel’s grand narrative ambitions, with his character appearing in several sequels and getting his own Disney+ series “Hawkeye.”
