You can play Fortnite on your iPhone for free right now (or when the servers come back online).
it’s a big weekend fortniteChapter 3 ends with a spectacular (but somewhat underwhelming) fracture event. Chapter 4 will start sometime on December 4th.
Unfortunately, for reasons I won’t get into here, you can no longer pass the dedicated fortnite Apps on iOS.But there are other ways: Xbox Cloud Gaming and GeForce Now both support fortnite on iOS.
if you want to know how to play fortnite Here’s a quick guide to cloud gaming via Xbox on iPhone or iPad. Setup shouldn’t take long.
First, you don’t need Xbox Game Pass to play fortnite Via Xbox Cloud Gaming. completely free – Well, at least the battle royale aspect that everyone cares about is. In any case, you can’t play Save the World via Xbox cloud gaming on smartphones and tablets.
You’ll need a Microsoft account, a fast internet connection, and an iOS or iPadOS device, Android phone or tablet, or Windows PC. We’re focusing on iPhones and iPads here.
You also need to be in the same region as Xbox Cloud Gaming. Details can be found on Xbox’s support site.
If you haven’t already, it’s a good idea to set up an Epic Games account so you can transfer your progress and cosmetic items to and from other platforms. Once you have a Microsoft and Epic Games account, go to the Connect page on your Epic Games account. Select the Accounts tab, then select Xbox. Follow the steps to link your Epic Games and Microsoft accounts.
Next, on your iPhone or iPad, open Safari. Go to Xbox.com/play and sign in with your Microsoft account (if you’re not already signed in).if you don’t see fortnite On the home screen, search for it. After clicking the green “Ready to Play” button, you’ll see this message pop up:
You need to add the web app to your iOS home screen to access Xbox Cloud Gaming.
Tap the Share button in Safari and select Add to Home Screen. This will create a shortcut to Xbox Cloud Gaming on your iPhone or iPad home screen. You can rename this shortcut to whatever you want (I use “Ecs Bawkx” for no good reason).
The next step should be obvious: go to your home screen and tap the shortcut you just created. This will launch Xbox Cloud Gaming.tap fortnite, Hit the play button and the game will start.
you will be able to play fortnite With touch controls. Alternatively, you can hook up an Xbox controller, PlayStation controller, or other compatible controller (I’m a big fan of the Backbone One, which lets me play games on my iPhone).
Everything here is its own.Hope you enjoy playing Chapter 4 fortnite On your iPhone or iPad!
If you don’t have an unlimited home internet or phone data plan, remember to keep an eye on your data usage. You don’t want a nasty surprise on your next bill.
