The Memphis Grizzlies (30-13) extend their season-best winning streak to 10 games with a 136-106 win over the Phoenix Suns (21-24) as the team hosts the 21st annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day celebration Contest.

Memphis is on course for just the second double-digit winning streak in franchise history after its 11-game winning streak set last season. It was the NBA’s longest active winning streak and the league’s second double-digit winning streak this season, joining the Brooklyn Nets’ 12-game winning streak.

The Grizzlies became the first team since the Los Angeles Lakers in 1985 to post a 10-game winning streak and score at least 115 points per game, and only the fourth team in NBA history to accomplish the feat in a single season, joining Lakers (1985), Denver Nuggets (1982, 1983) and Boston Celtics (1959).
