EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. — New York Giants running back Saquon Barkley was listed as questionable for Sunday’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles due to a neck injury.
The Giants (7-4-1) may also be without defensive tackle Leonard Williams. He’s still dealing with a neck injury and didn’t practice this week.
Barkley made his first injury report on Thursday. He was listed as a limited participant in Thursday and Friday practices, but he could still play this week.
“I hope so,” coach Brian Dabor said.

Barkley hasn’t played well in recent weeks. He’s averaging just 2.8 yards per carry over his past three games.
Dabol said there were no injuries during Wednesday’s practice, when he was listed as a regular participant.
“At week 14, his neck was a little sore, so [we] Put him on the injury report,” Dabor said. “I think it’s just been a long season, sore, so [we’ll] look where he is [Friday]”
Barkley made no mention of any injuries during Thursday’s conversation. He also dismissed it as a season-ending soreness.
“Is it Week 13 or Week 14? Whether I have 200 touches or 10 touches, I feel like it’s Week 13 or Week 14 of the season,” Barkley said. “It’s torture. It’s mind and body wear and tear. That’s the nature of the NFL and the beauty of it. I know people say slow down — I don’t really think so. I think we played some strong teams …I think it’s November, December football and we’ve been playing meaningful games against some really good teams and they’ve done a really good job.
“Now, on my side, I have to keep looking back and see what I can do better and take advantage of the opportunities there.”
Barkley insisted during last week’s 20-20 game against the Washington Commanders that the narrative that he was injured or tired was ‘bullshit’
“I just didn’t play well,” he told ESPN.
Barkley ranks fourth in the NFL with 1,055 rushing yards and eight touchdowns in 12 games.
