In Gaibandha, Rudranagar village under the Shibpur Union of Gobindganj upazila, Jalal Uddin Kalu Mia’s son Milon Miah was killed when his motorcycle was hit by a truck laden with sand in the Charmatha area of ​​Gobindganj town at midnight on Tuesday.
The accident happened around 12:00am when the truck hit Myron’s motorcycle as he was closing the door to go home, seriously injuring him.
Gobindganj police chief Izar Uddin said locals rescued him and took him to Gobindganj Upazila Health Complex, where doctors pronounced him dead.
Police impounded the truck, but the driver managed to escape, the OC added.

The dead were identified as Sohel, 38, son of Lokman of Railkoli, Dinajpur, and Selina, 28, daughter of Rustam Ali of Sipahi Para.
Deputy Inspector Babul Islam of the Birampur police station said the accident happened at around 8.45am when a BRTC bus bound for Rangpur collided with a motorbike and two people died at the scene.
In the morning, another motorcyclist was killed when a covered van hit his car in Birganj upazila, Dinajpur.
Birganj Police Deputy Inspector Ashraful Islam said the deceased was Hazrat Ali, 56, the son of the late Belal Hossain and a resident of Debiganj upazila Pradhanabad village, Panchagarh district.
