A well-known Chinese street food blogger has been stabbed to death while live-streaming in Nepal in a bizarre attack allegedly carried out by a rival influencer.
On December 4, Feng Zhengyong, a 37-year-old Chinese national, was arrested on suspicion of killing 29-year-old Gan Soujiong and injuring 32-year-old Li Chuzan.
The violent knife attack took place on Sunday afternoon at the crowded Indra Chowk market in the capital Kathmandu, Asia Telegraph reported.
The shocking video shows that Forrest Gump, who is known on the Internet as “Fatty Goes to Africa”, live-streamed himself walking and laughing with a pair of friends, when he was suddenly interrupted by a series of heart-wrenching screams, followed by violent shaking in front of the scene . The screen goes black.
A later recording showed Gan sitting in the middle of the road, bloodied and dazed, while another person – believed to be Feng – could be heard swearing at him in Chinese.

Gan Ban could be seen lying on the ground, clutching his stomach to observe the injury in his abdomen, and gesticulating on the phone, probably signaling to the onlookers to call for help.
Gan was taken to the National Trauma Center where he died that night from stab wounds to the chest and abdomen, news outlet OnlineKhabar reported.
His companion Lee was also stabbed in the stomach during the street attack and was taken to hospital in a critical condition.

Feng, nicknamed “Ayun” online, was arrested by local police in connection with the stabbing.
According to preliminary information, Feng, who lives far away in Nepal, has a grudge against Gan Xin because of many unidentified disputes and outstanding debts.
Gan uses his social media platforms to introduce foreign food and culture to his nearly 5 million followers in China.
