Eagles' Jalen Hurts in doubt for Cowboys game after shoulder sprain vs. Bears

According to Jones, his status in the Eagles’ Christmas Eve game against the Dallas Cowboys was “questionable” and he could end up missing the next two games, Every philadelphia inquirer.

The injury occurred during the Hawks’ 25-20 win over the Chicago Bears in Week 15. The 24-year-old was injured late in the third quarter when Bears defensive end Trevis Gipson threw Hurts to the ground and threw all of his 6 feet. Right, shoulders out. Here’s when the injury occurred:

Hertz, who didn’t miss a single play after hitting, finished with 315 yards and two aerial interceptions on 22-for-37 for 61 yards on 17 carries and three rushing touchdowns. He was sacked just once in the win.

The Eagles are about to get the top seed in the NFC and have a first-round bye in the playoffs, which will help them if Hurts does need some time to recover.
