Driver involved in fatal overnight crash in Allegheny County identified
The accident near Exit 72A on Interstate 376 occurred overnight.
A single-vehicle crash that was said to be fatal early Saturday morning on the east side of Interstate 376 near the Oakland exit, according to Pennsylvania State Police. The vehicle appeared to have been heading east, veered off the road, crossed the Northern Fog Line, and hit the barrier. It then flew 100 feet before hitting a PennDOT utility pole before coming to a stop. The operator, identified as Jaqwan J. Walton, 20, of McKeesport, was pronounced dead at the scene.
