Fatal Car Accidents in Missouri
While driving is generally a safe activity, in Missouri we see many people die in traffic accidents. Year after year, hundreds of families are negatively impacted by vehicle crashes that take the lives of loved ones. In many cases, these accidents are the result of negligence. Some major factors and fatal collisions include:
- Inexperienced Drivers: This usually happens to teenage drivers who are still learning the rules of the road. They may not yet have the skills or knowledge to operate the vehicle safely.
- Impaired Drivers: Drivers under the influence of drugs or alcohol are more likely to cause accidents that result in fatalities.
- Distracted Driving: Drivers who are distracted by cell phones, GPS devices, or other occupants in the vehicle are also more likely to be involved in accidents.
- Reckless Driving: Driving aggressively or speeding puts yourself and others at risk of serious injury or death.
