A rep for James confirmed Saturday that the rapper was involved in a “serious” two-vehicle accident on Monday, Jan. 9, in his hometown of Detroit.
“Boldy arrived at the hospital in critical condition with a fractured neck vertebra and orthopedic injuries,” the representative said in a statement. “Boldy has been moved from intensive care following extensive surgery on his neck and is in a stable condition.”
James’ representative continued, “Bordi and his family would like to express their gratitude to the wonderful doctors and nurses who took care of him, as well as the emergency medical personnel and first responders in the community.”
