Bell, Missouri (December 2, 2022) – Several people were treated for injuries following a motor vehicle accident in Stoddard County Thursday night. At around 5:20 p.m. on December 1, soldiers from the Missouri Highway Patrol were called to the scene of the accident on Highway P.
According to law enforcement, the driver of a 2021 Chevrolet Silverado failed to stop at a stop sign while traveling on Road P at the Y intersection. As a result, the vehicle pulled into the driveway of the 2008 Dodge Caravan, causing the two vehicles to collide. Both vehicles were badly damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
Three people were injured in the accident. The victims were identified as Ashleigh Sauceda, 27, Elaina Turner, 24, and a 4-year-old boy. The victim was transported by ambulance to St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, for emergency medical care.
The accident is still under investigation.
