Everyone sees the world differently, and many of them are powerless. Your worldview combines your life experiences, education, and the morals and beliefs you’ve developed over time.
Some people look at life through the lens of privilege, while others look at life through struggle. Others see life from an urban perspective, while others see life from a rural perspective. You could be a “glass half full” person, and your friends think it’s half empty.
When you look at the world through a mental lens, you trust that the universe or a higher power will eventually make things right. Having a spiritual perspective is not looking at the world with rose-colored glasses, but choosing to hope that things will turn out better.

As much as you want to start giving them some peace of mind, it’s best to leave any beliefs or advice until they’re ready to listen. Let them vent their frustrations and help them find something they can look forward to.
