SFC (Ret.) Mark Anthony Moda, 64, of Roby, died Thursday, April 20, 2023, at his home.
He is survived by four children, Matt Moda of Roby; Clyde Welsh (Shelly) of Virgil, SD; Dennis Welsh (Cerissa) of Crocker and Misty Steinbach of Plato; 13 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; his stepfather, Dean Lindstrom of Kearney, Neb.; seven siblings, Rhonda Schroeder (Larry) of Wilcox, Neb.; Callie Gronborg (Lynn) of Avoca, Iowa; Tonja Koenigs (Eric) of Yankston, SD; Bill Lindstrom (Julie) of Cheyenne, Wyo.; Shirley Messerchmidt (Dana) of Blair, Neb.; Cindy Mattan of Fountain Hills, Arizona, and Randy Lindstrom (Claudia) of Virginia; a number of nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Friday, April 28, 2023 at the Memorial Chapels and Crematory of Waynesville/St. Robert. Interment with full military honors will follow at Missouri Veterans Cemetery FLW in Waynesville. Visitation will be from 11.00 a.m. to church service at 12.30 in the Memorial Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Mark Moda and may be left at the funeral home.
