McDonald’s is selling “The Little Mermaid” Happy Meals featuring characters from the Disney musical, which opens Friday.
The meals include one of eight characters from the film: Ariel, the mermaid; King Triton, her father; Prince Erik, the human; Ursula, the villain; Sebastian, the crab, flounder, the fish; Scuttle, the seagull; and Max, the dog.
The toy is incorporated into an online game on HappyMeal.com intended to be played on a mobile phone or tablet.
The film, starring Halle Bailey, is a live-action remake of a hit animated film released in 1989. That version had its own Happy Meal. If you want to compare them, the 1989 toy is on eBay.
