Last night, a fashion-heavy crowd gathered at Raf’s, the newly opened Noho restaurant owned by talented twin sisters Jennifer and Nicole Vitagliano. Occasion? Augustinus Bader’s launch at Moda Operandi. Hosted by Lauren Santo Domingo, co-founder and chief brand officer of Moda Operandi, alongside Hayley Bloomingdale and Augustinus Bader CEO and co-founder Charles Rosier, the event was as decadent as a bottle of The Rich Cream.
Guests, including Deepak Chopra, Kate Young, LaQuan Smith, Brandon Maxwell, Vanessa Traina, Ivy Getty, Sarah Hoover and Colin King, sat at beautifully decorated tables (florist Carolina Malabet had filled the room with helleborus, peonies and black parrot tulip arrangements) for a three-course meal. Acclaimed chefs Mary Attea and Camari Mick, the masterminds behind Raf’s beloved bread, delighted guests with a menu that perfectly complemented the evening’s elegance: a small pearl salad, followed by spaghetti with tuna bottarga and a half-roasted chicken and fennel dish. And for dessert a chocolate torte.
But dessert wasn’t the last treat of the evening; guests left with gift bags containing Augustinus Bader’s The Light Cream and The Rich Cream, as well as their latest introduction, The Retinol Serum. And while it was a great night, it’s safe to say that many of those in attendance couldn’t wait to get home to start skin care regimens with their new products.
