Additionally, you can also soak the containers in hot water for some time before transferring the chutney to them. This helps to sterilize them. However, make sure to dry it completely as any exposure to moisture can end up spoiling your chutney.
Andhra Style Tomato Chutney: How To Make Andhra Style Tomato Chutney
To prepare the chutney, heat some oil in a pan. To that, add jeera, curry leaves, coriander seeds and garlic cloves. Mix well. Add chopped onions and green chillies and continue to fry until the onions turn golden brown in colour.
Then add chopped tomatoes, haldi, tamarind paste and salt. Give it a good mix and saute for 2-3 minutes. Cover the pan and cook the tomatoes until soft. Once done, add red chili powder and fresh coriander leaves. Mix well.

Turn off the flame and let the mixture cool. Then transfer it to a mixer grinder and blend it to a smooth paste. Now prepare tadka with oil, mustard seeds and urad dal. Pour this mixture over the chutney and enjoy!
